Hassina Sherjan: My father’s last words.
Following her father’s last words, “I want you to live just like you want to,” Hassina Sherjan returned to her homeland, Afghanistan, after a 20-year absence. Since returning, she has established education programs for women, and started a company that brings traditional Afghan embroidery to international markets. Hassina shows us her life-changing projects and argues that creating opportunities for school and business is the best strategy toward achieving a lasting peace.
