Last November, after our third TEDxColumbus event, my seven-year-old daughter said to me, “Mom, why can’t I do a TEDx event?”

I replied, “Why not?”

So, in February her wish came true: 15 kids took the stage and participated in the first TEDxKids event in the US that featured elementary school students: TEDxKids@NBCC

We organized it as a six-week workshop (every Friday afternoon) for their aftercare program, which drew kids in grades K-4 from four schools. We blogged about each of the five workshops (the sixth was the event!) here: http://articulationinc.com/category/tedxkidsnbcc/ to allow anyone to follow in our tracks.
