In an effort to convey our theme of “going against the grain,” we visually incorporate the action words of seeing, speaking and hearing into our campaign. Sophia Yip, the designer of these beautiful posters, says of her creations, “The idea for the theme Against the Grain came from the proverb, “See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil.” By turning this into a positive principle, I wanted to convey the message to people to not to turn a blind eye to the situations around us. To see the world through a different lens allows us to do things out of the ordinary and construct real results that can change the world.”

Keep an eye out for these masterpieces on bulletin boards, TVs, and bus stops across all three SFU campuses. Gold star if you can find one elsewhere in the community!
