Gullibility or vulnerability? Stuart Nolan
Expert in deception Stuart Nolan applies the the trickery of magicians to everyday life. Using this strategy, he tricked nearly 700 organizations into falling for the Forer scam — a psychological test designed to expose our gullibility. In this talk, he proposes that it’s not that the trick that matters, but its effect, and, ultimately, what these effects say about our society. (Filmed at TEDxSalford.)
