How movies can teach manhood: Colin Stokes

“I think we have got to show our sons a new definition of manhood.”

As a father of two children, Colin Stokes has spent an inordinate amount of time watching children’s movies. After repeat viewings of kids’ classics, he realized that most film protagonists don’t illustrate modern gender roles. At TEDxBeaconStreet, he lays out a vision for better heros for his sons as well as his daughters. (Filmed at TEDxBeaconStreet)
