A six-year-old TEDx speaker: Brighten up your day with this talk by first-grader Rashid Arafath at TEDxAmanaAcademy, about his campaign to help the homeless plant their own food.

From Rashid’s talk:

When I bring my food home from school, my mom tells me I need to finish my food. I asked her, “Why?”

She said, “There’s so many people around the world who have no food.”

That makes me sad. So I decided to not waste food and help those people, by teaching them how to plant their own food and change their life.
