As scientists are finding new ways to treat patients with advances in genetics, one critical area is being overlooked: the difference between men and women. As David Page explains, genetically speaking, there is as large a gap between men and women as there is between humans and chimpanzees of the same gender — and understanding this gap could open up new entirely new avenues for treating once-incurable illnesses.
