Want to feel really great about the next generation? Meet our TEDxYouthDay reporters.
TEDxYouthDay is a weekend of worldwide TEDx events to inspire and empower youth. It’s just around the corner — November 16-17, 2013 — and this year, we’re asking, how will you spark change?
Our youth reporters are volunteers from all over the globe who will tell the story of TEDxYouthDay in countries as diverse as India, America, Egypt, Japan, and beyond.
Why do they do it? Well, in the wise words of Erika Inoue, a reporter for TEDxYouth@Tokyo: "By continuing to be involved with the world, I believe any teenager can take part in societal improvement." Right on!
We’re still looking for more great volunteer reporters! If you are (or know a) young person who is great with social media and wants to watch or attend a TEDxYouthDay event, submit an application to be a reporter here: http://on.ted.com/reporters
